South Downs 50k is a 50-kilometre point-to-point trail race from Falmer (University of Brighton) to Eastbourne, largely following the South Downs Way through the South Downs National Park. The route features runnable trails with grass, farm tracks and forest sections, totaling roughly 3,600 feet of elevation gain. The course finishes beneath Beachy Head’s white cliffs and is fully marked with four aid stations. It offers GPS tracking and chip timing, UTMB Index recognition, and is part of the South Downs Triple Crown.
