Circuit du Sore Legs

The Circuit du Sore Legs is a running event held at the Wodson Park Sports and Leisure Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. The competition takes place on a 400-metre athletics track, providing a traffic-free environment and a flat running surface. Participants complete their chosen distance by running multiple laps around the circuit.

The event offers a variety of distance options:

  • 5k: 12.5 laps
  • 10k: 25 laps
  • Half Marathon: 52.75 laps
  • Marathon: 105.5 laps
  • 50k Ultra: 125 laps
  • 6-hour Challenge: unlimited laps within the time limit

The race utilizes chip timing to track lap counts and final times. Because the course is a circular track, runners pass their supporters during every lap. An aid station is located on the course to provide refreshments throughout the event. Facilities at the venue include toilets and changing rooms located near the track, and free parking is available for participants.

Registration is limited to a maximum of 200 entrants, and participants must be at least 18 years old. The event is held under an ARC Licence. Runners receive a bespoke medal and race photos. Complimentary tea, coffee, and cake are provided for all participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
