Circuit du Sore Legs
The Circuit du Sore Legs is a track running event at Wodson Park Sports Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire on 23 May 2027. This is the seventh year the event is held and it uses a 400 metre athletics track for all distances.
Lap counts based on lane 1 are:
- 5k - 12.5 laps
- 10k - 25 laps
- Half marathon - 52.75 laps
- Full marathon - 105.5 laps
- 50k Ultra - 125 laps
- Six hour challenge - unlimited laps
Event facilities and services include chip timing, a bespoke event medal, race photos, free parking, tea, coffee and cake for runners, and aid stations distributed around the course. The event is limited to 100 entrants and holds an ARC licence. Runners remain on a traffic-free athletics track, with toilets and changing rooms close to the track and supporters visible each lap. The event is cupless, so runners should bring their own cup or bottle for refilling.
Registration requires arriving about 30 to 45 minutes before the runner's start to collect a race number and receive a briefing. Race etiquette specifies overtaking on the right and requests that walkers use the outer lanes to allow others to pass. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
