Circuit du Sore Legs
The Circuit du Sore Legs is the seventh edition of a track running event organised by Zig Zag Running at Wodson Park Sports Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. Races are held on a 400 metre athletics track and distances are counted by completed laps.
Distances (based on lane 1):
- 5k - 12.5 laps
- 10k - 25 laps
- Half marathon - 52.75 laps
- Full marathon - 105.5 laps
- 50k Ultra - 125 laps
- 6 hour challenge - unlimited laps
Event features include bespoke medals, chip timing, a traffic free athletics track, free parking, race photos, and complimentary tea, coffee & cake for runners. The event is limited to 100 entrants and runs under an ARC licence. Toilets and changing rooms are close to the track and aid stations are positioned around the course.
Registration requires arrival 30 to 45 minutes before each start to collect race numbers and receive a briefing. Overtaking is on the right; participants who intend to walk are asked to use the outer lanes. Distance recorded for the event is based on laps multiplied by 400 metres, so watch distances may vary if runners use outer lanes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
