Thames Meander Summer : Hermes Running

Thames Meander Summer is a riverside race event on the Thames Path in Richmond and Barnes. The event is organised by Hermes Running and is scheduled for 9 August 2026. Distances:

  • 10km - x1 lap out and back to Kew Gardens Car Park (CP2).
  • Half marathon - 13.1 miles x1 out and back to opposite Barnes Sports Club (CP3).
  • Marathon - 26.2 miles x2 of the 13.1 mile out and back loop.

Start / finish is at Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts HQ, Douglas House Meadow, Richmond, TW10 7AH. Check points are listed at Kew Gardens Car Park (Ferry Lane, TW9 3AG) and at the Thames Path opposite Barnes Sports Club (Lonsdale Rd, SW13 9Q). KLP Medics provide medical support at the checkpoints. The checkpoints are described as well stocked with high energy foods, gels, drinks and electrolyte powders.
