About the race
Phoenix Running Hertfordshire is organising Hertfordshire - The Coy Carp Caper 2026 on Saturday 14 November 2026 at The Coy Carp Inn, Copper Mill Lane, Harefield, Uxbridge, UB9 6HZ.
The event uses a 3.28 mile out and back course along the Grand Union Canal. It is a timed, lap based event: participants may complete one or more laps of the 3.28 mile circuit. The minimum distance is one lap and all finishers receive a bespoke Coy Carp Caper medal. A seven hour overall time limit applies for distance completed on the day.

The surface is canal towpath and the course has no net elevation gain or loss, making it a flat route on off road trail. Free parking is available at The Coy Carp Inn; vehicle registration must be entered at the terminal inside the venue. Organisers can arrange wave starts for clubs or groups on request. The event is offered as both attended and virtual options and all participants receive a physical giveaway medal.
