Oliver Fisher 10k & 5k

The Oliver Fisher 10k & 5k takes place on 9 May 2027 at Milton Creek Country Park, Saffron Way, Sittingbourne, Kent. The event offers trail running entirely off road on stone and natural surfaces inside the country park.

Distances available include:

  • 10 km
  • 5 km
  • Family / junior run

The route runs through the grounds of Milton Creek Country Park and is described as varied terrain with hills, narrow sections and some muddy stretches. Detailed route maps, including GPX files, are available for download. Pacers are provided for the 10 km race and the event includes bespoke medals, trophies and prizes for leading runners. Free photographs are offered and there is limited free on-site parking on a first come, first served basis. Race t-shirts are available to purchase.

The event raises funds for The Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust, which supports the Neonatal Unit at Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham. The charity helps provide specialist equipment and resources for premature and poorly babies and their families; over 1,200 babies pass through the unit each year. Participant feedback notes good marshalling and signposting on the course, while some reports mention late starts and challenging hills in hot conditions. Event information is sent to registered entrants prior to race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
