The Chelmsford Brew Co Summer 10k Trail Run

Chelmsford, United Kingdom • 23 Jul 2026

The Voodoo Keller / Chelmsford Brew Co Summer 10k trail run

The Voodoo Keller / Chelmsford Brew Co Summer 10 km trail run is scheduled for 23 July 2026 and holds TRA permit number 6966. The event is currently full and operating a waiting list with a total of 66 places. A £2 levy applies for entrants who are not TRA or England Athletics members.

The route is provided as a GPX/Strava file with a narrative backup. The organiser describes the event as a social, fun run rather than a competition. The planned course may return to the 2023 route depending on completion of a new bridge.

Entry includes one drink at the brewery checkpoint and a second drink in the bar at the finish, and a finishers medal is included for 2026 entries. Checkpoint 1 is the tap room within the brewery; a marshal records entry and marks race numbers, pausing the clock. Participants may have up to 20 minutes at the tap room; they should tell the marshal when they will resume so timing can restart. Finishers claim their drink by handing their race number to bar staff.

Registration is inside the Voodoo Keller Bar. The venue provides a back area to leave bags at the owner’s risk. The location has multiple public transport options including buses, trains, bicycles and hire scooters; local car parks are within a two minute walk. Organisers advise against drinking and driving and suggest arranging a nominated driver or taxi if needed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
