Search For Santa takes place on 16 Dec 2026 and covers about 6 (ish) Miles along a night trail course.
The event is a self navigation trail race using a written route description issued on the day. There are no course markings, marshals, or GPX files and the event is not a mass start. Participants will be timed out and back in at the finish.
The route includes a secret destination where participants must solve a cryptic clue to gain time bonuses and stop for a refreshment. On the route there will be Santas and other features including chocolate. Prizes may be awarded for quirky dress, behaviour and sense of humour. Although the event is run as a race, the organiser recommends that participants enjoy the experience.
Race HQ is at The Compasses, Littley Green. Entry charges are stated as £11 affiliated and £13 unaffiliated plus a 50p booking fee. Entry includes two £3 vouchers. Confirmation of entry will be sent by email if an address is supplied. Results will be posted by the organiser after the event.
To allow friends to run together it is possible to enter on behalf of others but full participant details and agreement to the same terms and conditions must be provided before the closing date. No refunds are available.
As this is a night trail, participants must wear hi viz clothing, carry a head torch or torch and have a mobile phone. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
