The Chelmsford Brew Co 12k's of Christmas, run & rum.
This is a seasonal 12 km run held on 19 December 2026 with TRA permit number 5935 (TBC). The route is Strava/GPX based and a downloadable route narrative is available as an optional guide. The event is described as a fun social occasion rather than a competition, with a Christmas social theme combined with running.
The course includes a checkpoint in the brewery tap room where runners receive a pint, glass of wine, or a soft drink via a beer token. Finishers return to the Voodoo Keller Bar, where the included drink can be upgraded to rum with a mixer. Entry also includes a bag of crisps and a Christmas themed medal for all finishers. Non TRA or England Athletics affiliated club members pay a £2 levy.
Age and venue rules: the event takes place on licensed premises so no under 18s are allowed. Dogs are not permitted except for a single dog allowed in the rear seating area. Fancy dress is encouraged and the organiser will award free entry to the Chelmsford Brewery 10k in 2027 for the best dressed.
