This event is a festive, route-following run held on 19 December 2026 under TRA permit number 5935 (TBC). The course is distributed as a GPX/Strava route with an optional route narrative provided as a backup or confirmation of the correct way. The organiser describes the occasion as social rather than competitive.
Entry includes a drink token for a pint, a glass of wine or a soft drink at a brewery checkpoint and a further drink at the Voodoo Keller Bar at the finish; the second drink may be upgraded to rum with a mixer. Participants also receive a bag of crisps and a Christmas themed medal on completion. Because the event is held in licensed premises, no under 18s are permitted. Dogs are not allowed except for a dog named Barny in the rear seating area.
At the brewery checkpoint a marshal records arrival and issues the drink token; runners may wait there until the tail runner departs. On returning to the Voodoo Keller Bar, a marshal stops the clock and finishers collect their medal and claim the second drink. Compulsory equipment is a mobile telephone with an ICE entry using the same number provided at registration.
