The course start and finish are on grass in Belvedere Field, opposite the Visitors Centre car park. Most of the route is on grass and woodland trails with steep inclines; the 10k consists of two laps of the 5k route. Events are chip timed.

Parking for participants is free via the Cricket Ground entrance off Weald Road CM14 5QJ, while the Visitor Centre car park applies charges and is used for drop offs and blue badge parking. The closest train station is Brentwood at approximately 2.5 miles. There are no electric vehicle charging points at the event and no formal bike racks, though some railings near the Visitor Centre can be used.

Available on site are refreshments and toilets; dogs are allowed. There is no bag drop, showers are not available, and the course is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs. Sunflower wristbands and trained Event Managers are available to support accessibility needs.
