Goring Gap Trails Festival

Goring Gap Trails Festival takes place just outside Reading at Mapledurham House on 22 and 23 May 2027. The festival presents trail running and walking routes along the Thames and through the villages of the Chiltern Hills. Routes are predominantly flat, waymarked and marshalled in tricky areas so no navigation skills are required.

Events on the weekend include:

  • 50 Mile Ultra 15 hour cut-off, 9 support stations
  • 52K Ultra 9 hour cut-off, 6 support stations
  • Marathon walk support stations and marked route
  • Half Marathon 2 support stations, marked route

Support stations are located at village halls and offer toilets, rest stops, drinks and nutritional products. All events include online tracking and published results. Walks are described as possible to walk or jog and participants may proceed at their own pace.

Overnight camping is available on Friday and Saturday nights; camper vans are welcome and hot showers and toilets are provided. The race village provides free parking, a registration tent, a catering area and a bar. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
