A children's fun run organised by Afan Valley Swimming Club on 23 August, covering approximately 1 mile of mixed grass and tarmac with uphill and downhill sections. Entry includes a finishers' medal and a bag of sweets.

Trail races on the private Newnham estate near Plymouth on 28 August 2026. Choose an eight mile two lap route or a four mile single lap; canicross entries welcome and proceeds support Bowel Cancer West.

Point-to-point ultras along the Cambrian Way into Cardiff, offered as 44- and 33-mile options with self-navigation, live tracking, indoor aid stations, and on-route support.

Trail races at Wimbleball Lake include 10K and 5K runs with canicross options. The event is part of a bank holiday sports festival and offers camping, parking, finishers medals, event photos, and chip timing.

An eight hour timed event in Bridestowe with a TUGG start system and 5.3 km laps on a scenic disused railway route. Participants may complete multiple laps within the time limit and finishers receive a medal.

A guided 13 mile run from Newbridge Car Park across Dartmoor, visiting Bronze Age and medieval field systems, tors, and valley sections. The route has about 680 m ascent and requires trail shoes and half marathon fitness.

An eight hour timed loop event in Bridestowe on an out and back 5.3 km route along an old disused train line, with flexible start under a Turn Up Get Going system. Entry is limited to 70 and entrants must be at least 18 years old.

A 7 km fell race with 365 m of ascent in Machen on 31 August 2026. The route runs on steep, loose terrain so trail or fell shoes are recommended and entry is on the day with a £7 fee and age limit over 18.

September 2026

A coastal festival near Hope Cove, Devon combining trail races from 5k to ultra with swim runs, a sea swim, camping, family activities, forest school and evening music.

A new *15 mile* trail event in September 2026 on the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway Walk, with 2,267 ft of ascent, mostly off-road terrain, one fully stocked checkpoint and organised entry support from Rudry to Parc Penalta.

A fully supported cross-country challenge across Dartmoor offering 50 km and 30 km routes with staffed checkpoints, map and GPS support, and Mountain Leaders providing navigation and first aid.

Experience a challenging 6 mile moorland race across the rugged terrain of Dartmoor including steep climbs and woodland trails. This historic off road event finishes with a fast downhill run at the iconic Haytor Rock.

Two ultra-distance events along the Saints Way Trail in Cornwall on 05 September 2026, offering 28-mile and 56-mile routes, live GPS tracking, feed stations, medals and race photography.

Coastal running from Exeter to Babbacombe Downs with 50k, marathon and half marathon options; cupless format, marked coast path, cut-offs, and a bespoke medal plus a warm pasty at the finish.

A multi-duration trail event at Tehidy Woods on 12 September 2026, using a marked 4 mile loop. Runners choose from 3, 6, 9 or 12 hour formats and compete on a hilly, technical woodland course.

A high level 10.5 mile trail race across rocky, boggy Dartmoor terrain, featuring an ascent of the Red Lake Volcano and a touch of Ryder's Hill. The route is fully marked and marshaled and requires runners to be at least 17 years old.

Run as far as you like at Alice in Runderland, a timed multi lap event at Parc Taf Bargoed with flexible start times and on course support. Choose from one lap up to marathon and earn a bespoke finisher medal.

A short fell race on Dartmoor of just under 5 km with 276 m ascent, starting and finishing at Sourton Village Hall. Junior races are available with marked short routes and low entry fees.
