The Devon and Cornwall Backyard Ultra is an endurance running event where participants aim to complete 4.167 miles every hour, on the hour, for as long as they can. The challenge continues until only one runner remains, who is declared the winner. The event encourages personal achievement, with many runners achieving personal bests in various distances. Camping is included in the entry fee, and a hair plaiting service will be available for participants in 2025.
