The RAT Trail and Ultra Festival is an annual running event held at Porthpean, St Austell, Cornwall, along the scenic South Cornwall Coastal Path. It features multiple challenging off-road races with distances ranging from 5 miles to 64 miles (100K), including the ultra-distance "Plague" 64-mile out-and-back course starting at midnight. Other races include the 32-mile Black, 20-mile Red, and 11-mile White routes, all point-to-point along coastal trails with varied terrain, elevation, and some night running. A unique 24-hour continuous race called "Bring Out Your Dead" covers a tough 5-mile coastal loop with over 350m elevation and 500+ steps.
