The 24th Annual Twilight Run

The Twilight Run is a mid-week running event held in downtown Lansing. This evening race takes place on a Wednesday and features an out-and-back route on the Lansing River Trail. The course is noted for being accurate and scenic, starting and finishing near Museum Drive.

Participants can register for the following distance:

  • 5k Run/Walk

Registration includes chip timing, with results sent directly to participants via text message and posted online. A t-shirt is guaranteed for those who register by June 11, while limited shirts are available for later registrants. The event offers various entry fees based on registration date, with a discounted rate automatically applied for participants aged 18 and under.

Awards are presented to the top three finishers in numerous age groups, ranging from 10 and under to 80 and over. Separate awards are also given to overall and master (over 40) winners for both male and female categories. Proceeds from the event benefit high school and middle school cross country and track programs, as well as youth running clubs through the Michigan Running Foundation.
