Trail Running Calendar Michigan 2026-2027

A community 5K run/walk around Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids on July 4, 2026, presented by the East Grand Rapids Community Foundation. Family friendly with on-site and early packet options and proceeds supporting the foundation.

Black Bear Run in Engadine, Michigan features 6K and 12K runs plus a 6K walk on mixed pavement and gravel through the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club. Participants receive a dry-fit shirt and awards are given by age division.

A July 4, 2026 trail running event featuring a ten mile course with varied terrain and named obstacles, plus a shorter Wimpy fun run where all finishers receive a shirt and award.

A 10K along the Lake Michigan shoreline combining road, hilly trails and soft dune sand in Laketown Township. Participants must carry their own hydration and proceeds support P.O.R.T.

A 5K run/walk along the Bear River in Petoskey, Michigan, featuring a footbridge and riverside gravel trail with a shaded final mile; proceeds support the Northern Michigan Cancer Crusaders and awards are given by age division.
