Lake Superior Shore Run

Lake Superior Shore Run is the 32nd annual multi‑distance race held near Marquette, Michigan, at Little Presque Isle Recreation Area with events including a Half Marathon, 5K, a 5 Mile Hike, and a 1‑mile Youth Trail Run (Kids Race) along the Lake Superior shoreline at South Beach. The half marathon starts at Little Presque Isle and climbs about 300 feet to ridge vistas over the Huron Mountain Range, then returns via rugged sections by Wetmore Landing before finishing back at the island. Runners, hikers, and kids enjoy a scenic, challenging course with shirts for the main races, awards by age group, and proceeds benefiting youth cross country skiing via the Superiorland Ski Club.
