Some sections of the half marathon course are described as extreme. Cell service on the course is almost non existent.
Several race services and rules are noted. Packet pickup is held at South Beach in Marquette and also at Little Presque Isle on race morning. Runners in the half marathon, the 5K, and the 5 mile hike receive shirts. Age group awards are presented at the end of each race. The half marathon has a four hour time limit and runners who miss the final aid station cutoff may be asked to stop for safety. Parking at Little Presque Recreation Area is limited; a recreation passport is required for vehicle parking and fees apply.
