Event overview

The Noquemanon Ski Marathon is a cross country ski event organized by the Noquemanon Trail Network. The 2026 edition is scheduled for January 23 and 24, 2026. Registration for the 2026 event opens on September 29; registrants from 2025 were offered a deferral for 2026, with deferrals to be claimed by October 31. Course and organization

Trail statistics published for the event include climbing of 1643 ft, descending of 2242 ft, an elevation change of 1144 ft, and a minimum/maximum elevation of 603 ft / 1605 ft. Recent trail reports in January noted low snow conditions and described decisions made about grooming and, in one report, the cancellation of an event date due to insufficient snow. The Noquemanon Ski Marathon is run by the Noquemanon Trail Network, a nonprofit group whose mission is to develop and maintain an interconnected, year-round, non-motorized trail network in the central Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
