Noquemanon Ski Marathon : event overview
The Noquemanon Ski Marathon is a cross country ski event organized by the Noquemanon Trail Network, a nonprofit that develops and maintains an interconnected, year round non motorized trail network in Michigan's central Upper Peninsula. The event offers multiple race formats and a virtual option.

Entry fees and registration details are published with tiered pricing for the Full Noque, Half Noque, Virtual Noque and the 12K. Adaptive sit ski entries and Junior Noque entries are free. A youth discount of $25 is offered to participants ages 24 and under. All entry fees are non refundable and non transferable. Race timing is provided by Superior Timing.
Logistics and race options include packet pick up at the NMU Superior Dome and self selected wave assignments for the 50K and 24K based on prior results; petitions are required for Elite Wave 1 placement. A virtual option runs January 24 through February 1, 2026, with mailed race materials; virtual finishes do not count for age group awards or future wave placement.
Course support and safety information: aid stations are located along the course with water and nutrition at listed points, and medical coverage is provided by local search and rescue, ski patrol, and fire department personnel. Fluorinated waxes are permitted but participants are encouraged to use non fluorinated alternatives and application is prohibited inside the Forestville Trailhead building.
