Marquette Trail 50

The Marquette Trail 50 is an event with 50K and 50 Mile distances, as well as a 1 Mile race. The event takes place in August. Registration is handled via UltraSignup. There are capacity limits of 375 runners for the 50K and 175 for the 50 Mile race. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The event uses a mass start for the 50K and 50 Mile races. The courses are marked with orange flags and ribbon. The event is cupless, meaning runners must provide their own bottle, cup, or hydration system for use at aid stations. Aid stations provide water, sports drink, soda, gels, fruit, cookies, sandwiches, pretzels, chips, granola bars, and candy.

Packet pickup occurs the day before the race at the Forestville Trailhead. Parking is available at the trailhead, with priority given to vehicles with multiple racers. A mandatory pre-race meeting is held before the start. The event is organized entirely by volunteers, and proceeds support local trail organizations and cross-country teams.

Two unsupported training runs are organized before the event. These runs cover sections of the race course and require participants to bring their own supplies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
