Marquette Trail 50

Marquette, United States • 14-15 Aug 2026

Marquette Trail 50 : August 14 and 15, 2026

The event is a trail race weekend offering multiple distances:

  • 50M
  • 50K
  • 1 Mile

Race capacity is limited: 375 entries for the 50K and 175 entries for the 50M. Entries are not refundable or transferable and there will be no waitlist for 2026. Registration opens on November 28, 2025 at 8am EST.

Courses traverse single track managed by local trail organizations and are marked with orange flags and ribbon. It is uncommon to go more than 200 yards without a marker; runners who miss markers are advised to backtrack rather than leaving the trail. Aid stations are staffed and stocked with water, electrolyte drink, soda, gels, fruit, cookies, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, pretzels, potato chips, granola bars, and candy. This is a cupless event; competitors must carry a bottle, cup, or hydration system for refills.

Volunteer roles are organized for race weekend; volunteers receive a T shirt, buff, or other race items and may earn a complimentary future race entry for a full day of service. Merchandise is available during registration and must be picked up on race day, as orders will not be shipped. Proceeds support the trail organizations the course crosses and local cross country teams.

Two training runs are scheduled in 2026: a short loop meeting at the Forestville Trailhead and a 10 mile 4 Peaks loop meeting at the Sugarloaf paved parking lot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
