Marquette Trail 50
The Marquette Trail 50 is a trail running weekend held on August 14 and 15, 2026. The event includes multiple distances and has set field capacities: the 50K is limited to 375 entries and the 50 mile to 175 entries. Registration opens on Black Friday, November 28, 2025 at 8am EST on UltraSignup. Entries are not refundable or transferable and the organizer will not maintain a waitlist for 2026.

The course is marked with orange flags and ribbon; markers are frequent and extra signage is used at intersections. Aid stations are stocked with water, electrolyte drink, gels, fruit, sandwiches, snacks and candy. This is a cupless event so participants must carry a bottle, cup, or hydration system for refills.
Two training runs are scheduled in the lead up to the race: a short loop of about 11 miles meeting at Forestville Trailhead and a 10 mile 4 Peaks loop meeting at the paved Sugarloaf parking lot. Parking on race day is available at Forestville Trailhead but capacity is limited and preference is given to vehicles with multiple racers. Volunteers receive event apparel and other race items, and a full day of volunteer service may qualify for a complimentary future entry.
