June 2026

A trail race linking Grand River Park and Grand Ravines Park via the Idema Explorers Trail on June 20, 2026. Offers 10K, 5K and a 1 Mile kids run on mixed paved and natural trail surfaces.

Wicked Worm is a technical trail event at Robinette’s Apple Haus on June 20, 2026, offering a 10K plus looped 6- and 12-hour formats with aid stations, post-race food, and limited fields.

A Last Runner Standing mile loop at Two Hats Ranch near Big Rapids, MI, limited to 100 runners. The woodsy one mile loop has 150 feet of gain and a 20 minute loop time limit; proceeds support Montcalm/Mecosta Youth For Christ.

A 7.2 mile point to point run, walk or bike along The Edge Pathway from Hardy Dam to Croton Dam, finishing at DuChemin Park in Newaygo. Shuttle service, post-event awards, snacks and a T-shirt are provided.

A farm-based cross country event at Scholl Farms in Montague, Michigan featuring 5K and 10K courses, a 1K kids race, a dog division, awards, potluck and optional tie-dyed shirts.

July 2026

A 5K around Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids on July 4, 2026, with medals for top three overall and top three in each age category; registration opens February 1, 2026 and the fee is $35.

A July 4, 2026 trail running event featuring a ten mile course with varied terrain and named obstacles, plus a shorter Wimpy fun run where all finishers receive a shirt and award.

A 5K trail event at North Lake Park in Stevensville MI that raises funds for Alzheimer’s causes. The event is not timed and awards prizes to the three participants who catch the most deer flies using Tred Not Deerfly patches.

Trail races at Cannonsburg Ski Area offering 5K, 10K, 25K and 50K options on loops that include single track and a ski hill section. A tech shirt is included for registrations made by June 25 and registration closes July 9.

Ionia Free Fair 5k in Ionia, Michigan on July 16, 2026 offers 5 km and 1 mile distances on a course that connects two trail systems and runs through the Free Fair. Prizes include top five overall and age category medals.

A 10K along the Lake Michigan shoreline combining road, hilly trails and soft dune sand in Laketown Township. Participants must carry their own hydration and proceeds support P.O.R.T.

Team based cross country meet on a 5K course at Richmond Park in Grand Rapids. Includes team and individual registration, a free untimed 1 mile community run and awards sponsored by Gazelle Sports.
