The Hungerford Trail Races

The Hungerford Trail Races takes place in Big Rapids, Michigan, within the Manistee National Forest. This event features a course that winds through forested trails and single-track paths in northern Michigan. Participants travel through the woodland landscape during the autumn season, passing through a specific section of the course known as the Powerlines.

The event offers three distinct trail distances for participants to choose from:

• 50 Miler
• 45K
• 15 Miler

The course consists of varied terrain and natural surroundings. To support participants during their progress through the forest, aid stations are positioned at intervals along the route.
