Course Details

The course starts and finishes at the Mattawan Elementary School Bus Parking Lot on Western Street. The route begins on a paved road, passes school athletic facilities, and then enters wooded trail sections before returning to pavement to finish. The event organizers note the course includes trails. Dogs are not permitted on the course, and participants with strollers must wait until all runners have started.

Registration and Fees

Online registration for individuals is priced at $30 without a t-shirt and $35 with a t-shirt until mid-July. Family or team registration for up to six people is available for $125. Registration is paperless, and race-day registration must be done online via a mobile device; no paper forms are available.

Participant Information

Packet pickup and late registration occur at the Mattawan Elementary School on the Friday evening before the race and again on race morning. A locally designed event t-shirt is available for participants who register by the mid-July deadline, while supplies last. All participants who cross the finish line receive a finisher medal.

Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, top overall masters (over 40) male and female finishers, and to the top overall teams in male, female, and coed divisions. There are no age group awards. The event is held rain or shine, but may be delayed or canceled for dangerous weather, with no refunds issued.
