Trail Run Xtreme in Portage, IN on May 17, 2026 offers a wooded 12K and a 3K kids race on marked single track with volunteers, race shirts, awards and a post-race meal; proceeds support the Outback Trail Commission.

Four trail race categories require drinking four drinks and running four laps around a 400 meter loop for a one mile total. Drinks are regulated and proceeds go to the UAW Local 2209 Veterans Committee.

July 2026

H-F Beast Obstacle Course Dash in Homewood, IL on July 12, 2026 features two age categories with obstacle runs. The event awards finisher medals and t shirts and includes an optional prep course in June.

Mountain bike riders, trail runners and wheelchair athletes compete on the technical dirt trails and park roads of Franke Park in three hour and six hour formats, with food provided and awards for category winners.

A 10K along the Lake Michigan shoreline combining road, hilly trails and soft dune sand in Laketown Township. Participants must carry their own hydration and proceeds support P.O.R.T.

August 2026

Oakadoke Trail Runs features tree-covered single-track, switchbacks and creek crossings on looped 4, 9 and 18 mile courses near Valparaiso, IN, with frequent aid stations and a cupless race format.

A mixed road and trail 5K in Mattawan, Michigan that starts and finishes on the high school track. The course includes dirt, grass, and road sections; food and drinks will be available at the finish and dogs are not allowed.

Trail running and rucking event in Holland, MI on Aug 15, 2026 offering half marathon, 13.1 ruck, 10K and 10K ruck. All proceeds support the Egress Endurance Project and aid stations are supplied by Gazelle Sports.

A six hour timed night trail event at Franke Park in Fort Wayne where participants complete as many full laps as possible on a loop of paved path, gravel and single track. Lap counts are recorded on a whiteboard and electronically.
