Chupacabra Endurance 10-hour Run

The Chupacabra Endurance is a 10 hour running event held on August 29, 2026 at Bluhm County Park in Westville, Indiana. Participants complete repeated trail loops of about 4-4.1 miles that include a short paved section.

The race uses an hourly cutoff format: the clock starts each hour and runners must finish the loop within that hour or they are removed from the race. Winners are determined by who completes the final loop the fastest. No human or animal pacers are allowed; violation of that rule results in disqualification.

The start and finish area includes space for a crew station at the park shelter. Event organizers provide Gatorade, water, and snacks. Registered runners receive a limited edition event t-shirt and a wooden Chupacabra medal.

A chip based prize system begins after a runner completes four loops. Competitors receive red chips for four to six loops and blue chips for seven to nine loops. Chips can be exchanged at color coded prize tables; red chips correspond to items such as shirts and a coffee mug from prior Crazy Legs Race Series events, while blue chips include various items and may include free entries for Crazy Legs Race Series events.
