Bigfoot Half Trail Run - Stoney Run County Park

Bigfoot Half Trail Run takes place on November 14, 2026 at Stoney Run County Park in Hebron, Indiana. The event is a half distance trail run held on park property with a start and finish area near the park restrooms.

The course uses a mix of grass fields, pavement, gravel road and single-track trails. Runners complete two loops that overlap on one section. The main aid station at the start/finish area provides water, Gatorade, granola bars and UCAN gels. A non-manned aid station at approximately 3.5 miles supplies water and Gatorade. Participants are advised to bring any specific food or gels they require in a hydration pack.

Packet pick up is located at the first shelter on the right after entering the park; parking areas are identified on the event map and roadside parking is not permitted. Packet pick up includes a raffle ticket; raffle winners are selected during the race and posted after finishing so winners can claim prizes at the prize table. Old Crazy Legs Race Series items will be sold for $5 with proceeds going to the park. Various Bigfoot hat styles are available to choose on arrival.

Course markings include flags and arrow signs. Timing is done with a numbered popsicle stick that must be returned to the volunteer at the shelter as soon as possible. There is no formal awards ceremony; overall winners and top age group finishers receive medals after returning their timing stick.
