Bigfoot Half Trail Run

The Bigfoot Half Trail Run takes place in Stoney Run County Park in Hebron, Indiana. The event consists of a half marathon distance held on a course that features a variety of terrain types. Participants encounter grass fields, sections of pavement, gravel roads, and single-track dirt trails.

The course is designed as a two-loop system with an overlapping section on each lap. Navigation is provided through flags and arrow signs placed along the route. Two aid stations are available to participants: a main station at the start and finish area stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, granola bars, and gels, and a secondary unstaffed water station located at the 3.5 mile mark.

Event logistics include:

  • Half Marathon (approx. 21.1 km)

Registration includes a Bigfoot-themed hat and entry into a raffle. Winners are selected while the run is in progress and can claim prizes from a designated table after finishing. The event uses manual timing methods where participants receive a numbered stick upon crossing the finish line to be returned to event staff. Awards are presented to the overall top male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in each age group.

The venue provides parking in designated areas, though parking on the park roads is prohibited. Facilities include restrooms located near the start and finish line area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
