Event Overview

The Tombstone Trail Run takes place on March 14, 2026 at Sunset Hill Farm County Park in Valparaiso, Indiana. The event offers three trail running distances: a 30k, a 50k, and a new 50-mile distance added for 2026.

Course & Logistics

All distances start together and have a 16-hour time limit to finish by midnight. The course features a section known as the "Roller Coaster" hills. Aid stations are located at the start/finish area and near the 4-mile mark on the course loop. A link to a Strava activity is provided for the new course layout.

Participant Perks

Each registered runner receives a limited edition t-shirt, a winter hat and gloves, and a cowboy hat. Finishers receive distinct awards based on their distance: 30k runners get a hand-made wooden finishing medal, while 50k and 50-mile runners each receive a belt buckle.
