Tombstone 30k/50k/50 mile - Sunset Hill Farm County Park

The Tombstone event offers three trail distances held at Sunset Hill Farm County Park in Valparaiso, Indiana on March 13, 2027. All distances share a 16 hour finish allowance and follow courses that include the course feature known as the "Roller Coaster" hills. One aid station is located at the start and finish area.

Finish gifts and awards vary by distance. Every participant receives a limited edition t-shirt, winter hat or gloves, and a cowboy hat. 30k finishers receive a hand-made wooden finishing medal. 50k and 50 mile finishers receive a belt buckle.

The event is organized by the Crazy Legs Race Series, which stages races on non-pavement and pavement terrain in Northwest Indiana parks and areas within Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties. The series states it aims for low-key event management and course variety. Registration allows runners to select their gender identity without documentation. The organizer includes an acknowledgement that the race land is the seized territory of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations and recognizes other peoples who stewarded the area, including the Lenape.
