Tryon Farm 50k

Tryon Farm 4 Miler/8 Miler/25k/50k and 2 mile Fun Run/Walk

This event takes place at Tryon Farm, Tryon Road, Michigan City, IN on October 3, 2026. The course is a 4 mile loop that serves as the base for multiple distances and a separate 2 mile fun run or walk.

The terrain is a mixture of open grassy fields, single track dirt trails and very small sections of pavement used to link parts of the trail system. For longer distances the loop is repeated: 8 miler is two loops, 25k is four loops and 50k is eight loops.

Logistics note that there is no parking at the start and finish area; parking is provided across the street at Head Start of LaPorte County, 811 Royal Rd, with a short walk to the venue. The main station is located at the start and finish area. There will be a non-manned water and Gatorade aid station near the 1.5 mile mark, and two port-a-potties at the main station; there are no bathrooms on the course. Runners are asked to wear their bib on the front to allow loop counting.

The event benefits the Tryon Farm Institute and is organized as part of the Crazy Legs Race Series, which promotes non-pavement and pavement races in northwest Indiana and states an inclusive registration policy for all gender identities.
