Tryon Farm 50k

Michigan City, United States • 3 Oct 2026

Tryon Farm 4 Miler / 8 Miler / 25k / 50k and 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk

The event takes place at Tryon Farm in Michigan City, Indiana and uses a 4 mile loop through the property. Longer distances are formed by repeating the loop: the 8 miler is two loops, the 25k is four loops, and the 50k is eight loops. A 2 mile fun run or walk is also offered.

Course surfaces include open grassy fields, single track dirt trails, and small sections of pavement that connect parts of the trail system. The main station is located at the start and finish area. There is a non-manned water and Gatorade aid point near the 1.5 mile mark. Two port-a-potties are provided at the main station and there are no bathrooms elsewhere on course. Participants are asked to wear their bib on the front of their shirt for loop counting.

There is no parking at the start/finish; attendees will park across the street at Head Start of LaPorte County, 811 Royal Rd, Michigan City, IN and walk to the venue. The event benefits the Tryon Farm Institute and is presented as part of the Crazy Legs Race Series, which supports non-pavement and pavement races in Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties. The series states an inclusive registration policy for transgender participants and offers a land acknowledgement for the area used. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
