Tryon Farm 50k

Michigan City, United States • 3 Oct 2026

Overview

The event is scheduled for October 3, 2026, at Tryon Farm on Tryon Road in Michigan City, Indiana. It benefits the Tryon Farm Institute. The race is part of the Crazy Legs Race Series, which promotes non-pavement and pavement races in Northwest Indiana and states an inclusion policy for participants regardless of sexual orientation, biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression. The series also provides a land acknowledgement for the Miami, Shawnee, Illinois, and Lenape (Delaware) Nations.

Course and logistics

The course is a 4-mile loop through Tryon Farm. Multi-distance events use repeated loops: the 8 miler is two loops, the 25k is four loops, and the 50k is eight loops. Surfaces include open grassy fields, single-track dirt trails, and very small sections of pavement. There is no parking at the start/finish; participants park across the street at Head Start of LaPorte County, 811 Royal Rd, Michigan City, IN, then walk to the venue. The main station is at the start/finish. A non-manned water/Gatorade aid point is near the 1.5-mile mark. Two port-a-potties will be at the main station and there are no bathrooms on the course. Bibs must be worn on the front to count loops. Course tracks are available on Relive and Strava. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
