Tryon Farm 50k

The Tryon Farm 50k is an event held at Tryon Farm in Michigan City, Indiana. It benefits the Tryon Farm Institute.

The course is a 4-mile loop through the farm, repeated eight times. The terrain is a mix of open grassy fields, single-track dirt trails, and very small sections of pavement. Runners must wear their bib on the front of their shirt for loop counting.

A main aid station is located at the start/finish line area. There is also a non-manned water and Gatorade station near the 1.5-mile mark of the loop. Two portable toilets are available at the main station, with none on the course itself.

Parking is not available at the start/finish area. Participants park across the street at Head Start of Laporte County (811 Royal Rd, Michigan City) and walk over.

The event is part of the Crazy Legs Race Series, which organizes non-pavement and pavement races in Northwest Indiana. The series acknowledges the event takes place on the seized territory of the Miami, Shawnee, Illinois, and Lenape nations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
