Frozen Feet 5k Trail Run

The Frozen Feet 5k Trail Run is scheduled for January 3, 2026, at Creek Ridge County Park, 7943 W 400 N, Michigan City, IN 46360. The event is part of the Crazy Legs Race Series, which organizes races in parks across Lake, Porter and Laporte counties in Northwest Indiana.

Course and race-day details

The course is a trail route made of two loops, with one hill on each loop. The surface includes roots and small branches, so runners are asked to be cautious. Packet pickup and post-race activity are at an outdoor shelter; the race will start near that shelter.

Timing is done informally using a popsicle-stick system. Finishers receive a popsicle stick and must turn it in to claim overall or age-group medals; there is no formal awards ceremony. After finishing, snacks, water, and Powerade are available at the outdoor shelter. All runners receive a one-size-fits-all winter hat and gloves. Old race shirts and hats will be sold for $5.

Registration prices listed are inclusive of mandatory charges: $28.74 for the early period and $34.09 for the later period. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
