Event

Save the Drama for your Llama is a six-hour trail running event held at Luhr County Park in La Porte, Indiana (3178 S County Road 150 W). The event is organized by Crazy Legs Race Series and uses a loop course format where participants run as many loops as possible within a six-hour window.

Course and rules

The loop is about 1.7 miles long and is marked with flags and signs. Participants check off each completed loop in the start/finish area and must wear their bib number on the front of their shirt. Only fully completed laps within the six-hour period count toward a runner’s total; partial laps at the end are not counted. Overall male and female winners are determined by the greatest distance completed in the six hours. Runners may stop, take breaks, or refuel during the event. Items from previous races will be available for sale for $5, including t-shirts and hats. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
