La Porte, United States • 4 Apr 2026

Event Details

The Save the Drama for Your Llama 6 Hour Trail Run takes place at Luhr County Park in La Porte, Indiana. The format is a timed event where participants have six hours to complete as many loops as possible on a marked trail course. Each loop is approximately 1.7 miles long.

Laps are counted as participants arrive in the start/finish area, and only loops completed before the six-hour time limit expires are counted. Runners can stop for breaks and fuel during the event. The overall male and female winners are determined by who completes the most miles within the six hours. The course will be marked with flags and signs.

The event is organized by the Crazy Legs Race Series, which promotes races on both non-pavement and pavement surfaces in Northwest Indiana. The series aims to provide a low-key atmosphere with courses in parks across Lake, Porter, and La Porte counties. The series welcomes all individuals, stating that transgender runners may register as the gender they identify with, with no documentation required.
