Save the Drama for your Llama is a six-hour trail running event on April 4, 2026, held at Luhr County Park in La Porte, Indiana. The event is organized by Crazy Legs Race Series. Entrants try to complete as many loops as possible within a six-hour period. Overall female and male winners are the runners who cover the most miles in that time.
Course and rules
The course is a marked loop of about 1.7 miles. Loops are recorded as runners return to the start/finish area, and bib numbers must be worn on the front of the shirt. A lap that is not fully completed before the end of the six-hour period does not count. The course will be marked with flags and signs; participants are asked to follow course markings rather than other runners. Runners may stop, take breaks, or refuel during the six hours. Event organizers will have items for sale from other races for $5, including t-shirts and hats. The organizing series promotes trail and road events in northwest Indiana and states an inclusion policy allowing transgender runners to register as the gender they identify with without documentation.
