The DINO 7K Trail Run takes place on June 20, 2026 at Potato Creek State Park in South Bend, Indiana. The event distance is 7 km on a lollipop loop course. Registration fee is $30 through June 19 and $40 on race day.

Course and rules

The course uses wide, stable paths and includes two notable hills. Course difficulty is rated Hills 2 / Surface 1 (scale 1-5). Runners must keep their race number visible, follow the marked trail, and be courteous when passing. Headphones and dogs are not permitted. If a runner drops out, the organizers ask to be notified at the finish area.

Series scoring and awards

This race awards bonus points for the DINO Trail Run Series. Finishers earn between 1 and 10 bonus points based on finishing percentile; the top 10% of finishers of each gender receive 10 points and the bottom 10% receive 1 point. Overall top three finishers in each distance receive medals. Additional medals are given to top three finishers in each age category. Door prizes are drawn at the awards ceremony and are provided by event sponsors.
