DINO 7K TRAIL RUN at Potato Creek State Park

The event is a 7 km lollipop loop held at Potato Creek State Park in South Bend, Indiana. The course features wide, stable paths and two notable hills. Course difficulty is rated Hills 2 and Surface 1 on the organizer scale.

Entry fees are listed as Early $30, $35 from April 20th, and $40 on race day. Check-in and registration are provided on race day. A course map is listed as forthcoming.

This race is a bonus point event within the DINO Trail Run Series. All finishers in a bonus race receive at least one bonus point. A finish in the top 10 percent of men or women earns 10 points. A finish in the 80 to 90 percent range earns 9 points. The distribution continues so that the bottom 10 percent of finishers earn 1 point.

Race day rules require the race number to be worn on the front and visible at all times, and runners must follow the marked trail without short cutting. Runners should communicate and be courteous when passing or being passed. Headphones and dogs are not permitted. If a participant withdraws, they should notify organizers at the finish area.

Age groups for men and women are 0-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. Overall top three and age group top three finishers receive medals. A 5K chip-timed run and a 3K scavenger-hunt walk through St. Patrick's County Park featuring trail terrain, participant medallions, post-event refreshments, awards by age group, and proceeds that support park programs.

A timed 10-hour endurance run at Bluhm County Park on August 29, 2026 where runners repeat a 4 to 4.1 mile trail loop with hourly cutoffs, chip-based prizes, a limited-edition shirt, and a wooden medal.

Multi-distance trail event at Tryon Farm featuring a 4 mile loop used for 2 mile, 4 mile, 8 mile, 25k and 50k races. The course mixes grassy fields and single track trails with basic aid and parking across the street.

Timed 6, 12 and 24 hour events on the dirt and grass trails of St. Patrick's County Park in South Bend with on-site overnight amenities and proceeds donated to the ALS community.
