Run Happy 50K (and other happy distances)
The Run Happy event takes place on May 1, 2027 at St. Patrick's County Park, just outside South Bend, Indiana. The park address is 50651 Laurel Rd, South Bend, IN 46637.
Distances offered include:
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- 50K
Course routes are clearly marked and the trails are broken in. The event accepts walkers and runners, and families can choose different distances to participate in at the same event. Course maps and route details are forthcoming and will be emailed to registrants once available.
Registration opens May 4, 2026 and closes April 30, 2027. Fees listed by event are: 10K $40, Half Marathon $45, Marathon $50, 50K $55. No same-day sign ups. Sign up by April 9, 2027 to receive a tee shirt.
All distances will be chip timed by Watts My Time. Packet pickup details include an early pickup time and location to be determined, with event-day pickup at St. Patrick's County Park starting at 7:15 am. For the 50K, runners must start their fifth and final lap by 2:30 pm; a 15-minute mile pace or faster meets this cutoff.
