Course and format
The 100M and 50M use repeated short "everesting" loops on the Cannonsburg Quad and the Double ski runs, plus additional roughly 2-mile trail loops on wooded single track that can be run at any time. The full 100M is described as over 30,000 feet of gain and loss, comprising 152 everesting loops and four ~2-mile trail loops, with a 36-hour cutoff. The 50M is described as over 15,000 feet of gain and loss, with 76 everesting loops and two ~2-mile trail loops.
The Sunset 10K follows trails on the Cannonsburg property and includes a climb to the top of the main hill. The Sunrise 20K is two laps of the 10K course on single track and the ski hill.
Organizers note there are no ski hill lights, so participants are responsible for a headlamp and extra batteries; a headlamp is recommended for every distance except the Sunday Sunrise 20K. Aid stations will offer hot and cold food; finishers receive distance-specific awards and race photos will be available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
