Yankee Springs Fall Festival

The Yankee Springs Fall Festival is the ninth annual trail running event held on October 3, 2026, organized by Switchback Endurance at Deep Lake Campground in Middleville, MI. The event uses looped courses on rolling single track originating at the campground.

Distances offered:

  • 10K (ish) loop on rolling single track
  • 25K loop on rolling single track
  • 50K consisting of two laps of the 25K course

Pricing includes a choice of a long sleeve tech shirt or a Switchback Endurance buff. Registrations completed by September 12 are guaranteed a shirt. Registration closes on October 1 at 11:59 PM ET.

Camping is available at Deep Lake Campground near the start and finish. Nearby Gun Lake Campground provides modern facilities including running water and electrical hookups, while Deep Lake is a primitive campground. Campsites can be reserved through the state DNR reservation site.

Trail races at Robinette's Apple Haus & Winery in Grand Rapids, Michigan offering 5K, 9K, 18K and a 9K ruck on dirt single-track with hilly terrain and about 500 ft gain on the 9K loop. Finishers receive a medal and tee.

A community trail run and walk around Jordan Lake starting and finishing at Lakewood Middle School, featuring a 5K route, age group awards, and packet pickup at the Lake Odessa Fair with race day pickup available.

A community 5K run/walk on July 4th in East Grand Rapids presented by the East Grand Rapids Community Foundation; families and strollers are welcome, registration by June 11 guarantees a shirt and day-of registration is available.

Trail race at Cannonsburg Ski Area with a 10k loop that includes rolling single track and a ski-hill section; distances range from 5K to 50K and a tech shirt is included if registered by June 25.
