Fruitland Trail Run

The Fruitland Trail Run takes place in Whitehall, Michigan, and offers participants the choice between two distances on a course that is entirely asphalt-free. The route utilizes trails within a pine forest adjacent to the Chapel in the Pines. Runners and walkers encounter a diverse terrain that includes creek ridges, rolling hills, curves, and sandy sections.

Participants can choose from the following event distances:

  • 5K Trail Run/Walk
  • 10K Trail Run/Walk

In addition to the main events, a free run for children is held after the primary races conclude. No prior registration is required for the children's event. Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers in the Masters, Open, and 18 and Under categories for both the 5K and 10K distances.

The start line and registration area are located behind the pole barn at the event site. The races are held in conjunction with the Blueberry Fun Festival. This local festival features various activities and amenities, including a craft fair, live entertainment, a bake sale, a bounce house, and a foam penny scramble. Participants have the option to purchase tickets for a blueberry pancake breakfast. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
