Fruitland Trail Run/Walk

The Fruitland Trail Run/Walk takes place on July 25, 2026 in Whitehall, Michigan (4283 N. Weber Rd). The event offers trail distances over natural terrain and is staged near the Chapel in the Pines.

The course is 100% asphalt free and runs along creek ridges and rolling hills through pine forest. The surface includes sand, hills, and curves. Wildlife such as deer may be present on or near the course.

Registration opens April 1. Early registration through May 31 costs $25. Standard registration from June 1 through July 25 costs $30. Late registration the evening before and on the day of the event costs $35. Blueberry pancake breakfast tickets may be purchased for a discount of $8.

A free kids run follows the main races and does not require registration. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in Masters, Open, and 18 and Under categories for both races. Registration and race start are located behind the pole barn.

After the races, activities connected with the Blueberry Fun Festival include a pancake breakfast, craft fair, bounce house, foam penny scramble, live entertainment, and a bake sale. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

A beachfront 5k obstacle course at Pere Marquette Beach Park on May 16, 2026 featuring more than 20 obstacles, competitive and fun waves, and a Kid’s Zone. Proceeds support Muskegon Rescue Mission.

Experience a cross country trail run through the fields of Jazz Blueberry Farm in Shelby. Choose between 10k, 5k, and 1 mile distances before enjoying the opportunity to pick fresh blueberries on site.

A cross country meet at Muskegon Catholic Central Monsignor Kehren Stadium on August 22, 2026, featuring high school races and an open alumni and community 5k. Race proceeds support MCC Cross Country and Track and Field programs.

Experience the wooded trails of North Ottawa Dunes in this community trail run featuring 10K and 5K courses. Finishers receive a unique locally grown pumpkin medal to support local charitable organizations.
