The event takes place at Tahquamenon Falls State Park near Paradise, Michigan on August 8, 2026. Distances offered:

Total field is limited to 250 entrants across all distances. Registration closes August 3, 2026. Packet pickup is at Paradise Lakefront Lodge (8112 N. M-123); pickup is scheduled the day before the race. Awards include podium places for the top three in each distance and age-group awards; all finishers receive a commemorative finisher item.

Course, aid stations and logistics

The 25K and 10K run largely on the North Country Trail and River Trail, passing spruce swales, pine ridges, bogs, Jack Pine savannah, Camp 10 and Water Tank lakes, Lower Tahquamenon Falls, and finishing near Upper Tahquamenon Falls. The 50K in 2026 is an out-and-back of the 25K route. The 10K begins near Lower Falls and includes a 1.7 mile loop into the highlands before joining the River Trail.

There are six aid stations spaced roughly 4-5.4 miles apart (at about 4, 8.4, 12.8, 18.2, 22.6 and 27 miles). Stations offer cold water, electrolyte drink, energy gels and electrolyte tablets. Runners are required to carry a 20 oz water bottle or other functional hydration system that can be refilled at aid stations. Bus transportation is provided to designated start locations; parking is available at Valley Spur. Dogs are allowed in the start/finish area but not on course.
