The 10th Annual Snow Moon Trail Run takes place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Midland City Forest, 2840 E Monroe Rd, Midland, MI 48640. The event is presented by Bayne’s Apple Valley with organizing support from Dig Deep and Jolt Credit Union. A portion of race proceeds will be donated to the Great Lakes Bay Veterans Coalition.

Registration prices vary by distance and shirt option: 5K $40–$45, 15K $40–$45, 25K $45–$50. The option to purchase a race shirt ends on Sunday, January 25th at midnight.
Course, logistics and amenities
The course is a 5k loop on wide cross-country ski and mountain bike trails (not single track). Small LED lights will mark the route for night navigation. There is one aid station with a bonfire that runners pass twice each loop. Participants receive a 4" finisher medal, custom bib, professional chip timing, and free online race photos. Participants also receive two adult beverages provided by Bayne’s Apple Valley; proof of age is required at packet pickup and beverages must be consumed inside the enclosed tent.
Packet pickup and late registration occur at the Monroe Rd entrance on race day from 3:30–6:30 PM. Parking at the City Forest lot is limited; additional parking is provided by the Eagles of Midland about 0.25 miles from the event site. Results will be posted at DIGDEEPRACES.COM within 48 hours.
