Course and logistics
Courses follow the Flint River Trail and pass natural features such as Mott Lake and Stepping Stone Falls, with surrounding hardwood forest. The 3 Mile course is 100% paved trail. The 5 Mile course is 100% paved and includes a short section on Branch Rd with a coned-off runner lane and grassy shoulder. The 12.5K course includes Branch Rd and James Basset Dr and is approximately 95% paved. The route will be marked with signs, cones, and field paint, and known trip hazards will be identified.
