Pets, onsite activities and fundraising

Dogs and cats are allowed to participate with their owner if the animal has a current license and is kept on a 6 foot leash. Owners must keep control of their pets at all times. A family fun zone and local animal-related vendors such as markets and groomers will be on site during the event.

The event is fundraising for two animal rescues: Do Only Good Animal Rescue and Great Lakes Dog Rescue. Do Only Good is a foster-based local nonprofit that facilitates adoptions from the Oakland County Animal Shelter and provides shelter and care for over 4,000 animals each year. Great Lakes Dog Rescue rescues adoptable dogs from animal control and owner surrenders and provides shelter and medical care until adoption.
