The Paper Chase 5K is an organized run and walk held on May 31, 2026, at Lansing Shuffle, 325 Riverfront Drive, Lansing, MI 48912. The course follows the Lansing River Trail heading south to a turnaround at the halfway point and returns to the start area. The listed distance is 3.1 Miles.
Registration opens March 1, 2026 and has tiered fees: $40 through April 30, $45 from May 1 to May 30, and $50 on race day. A race t-shirt is included for participants who register on or before May 13, 2026; shirts for later registrants are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. A $10 gift card to Lansing Shuffle is provided to each registrant.
Teams are encouraged; teams consist of at least two people and a team pricing option offers a $5 discount per participant for teams of four or more. The event includes a raffle where participants may purchase tickets for prize drawings.
Awards will be presented to the fastest three overall male and female finishers. Firm or organization team awards include the lowest average time based on the two fastest team members and the firm or organization with the greatest number of participants.
A portion of proceeds will benefit Michigan Capital Region Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Young Lawyers Section of the Ingham County Bar Association.
