Course Overview

The event takes place on the rugged North Cornwall coast, starting on the golden beach in Polzeath. The routes head north-eastwards across unspoilt coastline and feature significant elevation gain. Runners will pass the Pentire Peninsula, fishing villages, and picturesque valleys.

Distances & Terrain

Four distances are offered:

  • 10K (6.3 miles, 902 ft ascent)
  • Half Marathon (13.3 miles, 2,654 ft ascent)
  • Marathon (26.1 miles, 5,767 ft ascent)
  • Ultra (31.4 miles, 6,558 ft ascent)

The terrain is described as severe and includes trail, sand, rock, and grass. All courses are fully marked, requiring no navigation.

Event Details

This is the third installment of this event. Participation contributes to the Endurancelife Season Leaderboard, where points are awarded based on performance. A participant manual and spectator information are provided. A finisher's medal, an energy bar, and electronic timing are included for all participants.
