Event Overview
The Endurancelife North Cornwall event is a coastal trail run based in Polzeath. It is the fifth installment of this event, which begins on Polzeath's golden beach. The routes head northeast along miles of unspoiled coastline on the rugged North Cornwall coast.
Course and Terrain
The event offers four distance categories:
- 10K (6.3 mi): 902 ft of ascent.
- Half Marathon (13.3 mi): 2,654 ft of ascent.
- Marathon (26.1 mi): 5,767 ft of ascent.
- Ultra (31.4 mi): 6,558 ft of ascent.
The terrain is listed as severe and includes trail, sand, rock, and grass. The course features significant elevation gain and passes the Pentire Peninsula, peaceful fishing villages, and picturesque valleys. The Atlantic Sea forms the backdrop.
