North Cornwall Coastal Trail Run, Polzeath

The event is based in Polzeath and begins on the village's golden beach. Routes follow miles of unspoilt North Cornwall coastline, passing the Pentire Peninsula, fishing villages and valleys before returning to Polzeath. The Atlantic Sea is a prominent backdrop.

Courses include notable elevation gain. Terrain is classified as Severe with surfaces that include trail, sand, rock and grass. The event is part of the Endurancelife 2026–27 trail running season and awards points toward the Season Leader Board based on performance.

Participants will be asked to check in online approximately two weeks before the event. The online check-in includes confirmation of personal details such as an ICE contact and viewing a mandatory event safety video.

  • Half Marathon - 13.3 miles, ascent 2654 ft

Trail runs nearby

A five mile multi terrain race around the Boconnoc Estate near Lostwithiel on 6 May 2026. Organised by East Cornwall Harriers, the event uses paths, woodland and road and offers free field parking.

A timed 20k coastal trail from Portreath beach to Perranporth with one stocked checkpoint, finisher medals and awards for the top three men and women. The event raises funds for Man Down Cornwall and has an optional return minibus.

A Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course at Stithians Showground on 09 May 2026, with grassy and gravel terrain, staggered wave starts and on-site parking; minimum fundraising target applies and the event is for ages 13 and over.

An off-road 10 km race on Sunday 10 May 2026 starting and finishing at Trevornick Holiday Park near Newquay, running over Cubert Common and the Cornish Coast Path with coastal cliff side elevation.
