St Piran’s Revenge is a multi-terrain trail race held on 21 December 2025. Race headquarters are at Perranporth Surf Lifesaving Club on Perranporth Beach. The course is listed as 10km (ish), approximately 6 miles, and includes over 1000 feet of climbing. The route starts on the beach and uses coastal path sections, sand, steep dune ascents and descents, and passes a 6th Century oratory linked to St Piran. The race is number 5 in the Cornish Multi Terrain Race Series.

The event is organised with assistance from the Cornwall Wildlife Trust ranger for the Penhale Dunes. The dunes are a designated SSSI / SAC and Natural England has granted consent for the race. Entry capacity for 2025 has been extended to 300 runners.

Entry, rules and logistics

Entry fees are £7.50 and £10 for unaffiliated ARC/UKA runners. Entries are non-refundable but may be transferred to another runner via a Si Entries account up until race day. There are no entries on the day. Minimum age for entrants is 16 years. A race licence from the Association of Running Clubs is pending.

The event is run with a low-carbon, back-to-basics approach. There are no medals or goody bags and there are no water stations on the course; organisers may provide a recycled item after the race. Prizes are planned for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers and for age categories. Donations will be requested for the Perranzubaloe Community Kitchen.
