Run Like Hell - Hell's Mouth, Cornwall

Run Like Hell is a trail running event that starts and finishes at Hell's Mouth Kitchen and Bar in Gwithian, Cornwall. The course follows the rugged north cliffs to the Bay at Portreath and returns to the start, running along coastal and trail terrain that includes steep sections and faster trail stretches.

The organiser is Bys Vyken Events. Entry options are non affiliated, affiliated, and a Green Entry for participants who run or cycle to the event. Published entry fees are £23.00 for non affiliated, £21.00 for affiliated, and £16.00 for Green Entry. Entries open on 1 January 2027.

The event statement notes an ARC permit reference shown as ARC/. Refunds are available up to four weeks before the event and deferrals are allowed up to two weeks before the event; deferrals cannot be refunded at a subsequent race. Crew are permitted but support runners are not allowed on the course. Participants must be over 18 and acknowledge the risks of running on road, trail or coastal terrain, and agree to follow decisions by race officials and marshals.

Trail runs nearby

A timed 20k coastal trail from Portreath beach to Perranporth with one stocked checkpoint, finisher medals and awards for the top three men and women. The event raises funds for Man Down Cornwall and has an optional return minibus.

A Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course at Stithians Showground on 09 May 2026, with grassy and gravel terrain, staggered wave starts and on-site parking; minimum fundraising target applies and the event is for ages 13 and over.

An off-road 10 km race on Sunday 10 May 2026 starting and finishing at Trevornick Holiday Park near Newquay, running over Cubert Common and the Cornish Coast Path with coastal cliff side elevation.

Way marked half marathon across Cornwall from Portreath to Devoran Quay that follows historic 1812 transport routes. One checkpoint provides fluids and snacks; entrants must carry fluid and a mobile phone and canicross entries are welcome.
