Run Like Hell : overview

Run Like Hell is a coastal trail race organised by Bys Vyken Events on Saturday 18 April 2026. The course is an out-and-back route that starts and finishes at Hell's Mouth (Hell's Mouth Kitchen and Bar, B3301 Gwithian TR27 5EG). The race follows the rugged north cliffs of Cornwall to the bay at Portreath and back. The distance is 13km (8.2 miles). The event includes a 3 hour cut off for completion.

Entry, logistics and policies

Entries open 1 November 2025 and close two weeks before the event. Entry categories and typical fees listed are: affiliated, non-affiliated, and a discounted "Green Entry" for participants who run or cycle to the event (discounted entry shown as £15; other listed prices include £19 and £21 plus service fee). Refunds are available up to four weeks before the event; deferral is allowed up to two weeks before the event but deferred entries cannot be refunded at the subsequent race. Parking is available at the start and car sharing is recommended. If the Met Office issues an Amber or Red weather warning, the race will not take place; organisers may reschedule or hold the event virtually.
