St Ives Bay 10k
St Ives Bay 10k is an off road coastal race held on 6 August 2026, organised by Hayle Runners and based at Hayle Surf Lifesaving Club, Riviere Towans, Phillack, Hayle, Cornwall TR27 5AF. The main event covers ten kilometres across beach, dune and Towans path terrain.

- 1 mile beach fun run for under 16s with entries on the night.
The course starts on the beach and heads toward the lighthouse. New for 2026, participants will be guided up onto the dunes to avoid the Gwithian steps, reaching the dunes area near Gwithian car park at around mile 3. The route continues for about two miles on Towans paths and includes a final named ascent, the "Dune of Doom," before returning to the beach for the concluding 1.2 miles. There is a water stop at mile 3 and the event is run cupless.
Practical details include a minimum age of 16 for the main race, bespoke medals for all finishers, changing and toilet facilities, and nearby paid car parking. Headphones of any type including bone conduction models are not permitted. Prizes are awarded for the first three men and women, age categories and teams. The race is fully chip timed, held under UKA rules with licence number 8112 through the Trail Running Association, and forms race 2 of the Cornwall Multi Terrain Series.
