Gecko Gathering - Scorrier House (23 August 2026)

The Gecko Gathering takes place at Scorrier House, Redruth, Cornwall on 23 August 2026. The event is organised by Purple Gecko Events and is held on the private estate. It is a timed event managed by ST App Service; there will be no chip timing. Registration closes on 15 August 2026 and entry prices start from £8.

There is no cut off time for the standard distances. Scorriergeddon is a five-hour endurance event in which participants complete laps and score points by completing loops and inflatable axe throwing at the end of each lap. The event is Stage 6 of the PGE 2026 5k & 10k Championship Series; the top 20 male and female finishers in the 5k and 10k earn championship points.

The race village includes a bar, DJ, food vendors (pizza, cakes, ice cream), face painting and inflatable activities. All competitors receive medals, personalised bibs if entered at least one week before the event, and awards for top finishers.
