West 100
Camborne, United Kingdom • 8-9 Aug 2026
West 100 is a crewed, self-navigation team event of five runners covering 100 mile trail routes in Cornwall. Entries are tied to a base in Camborne (64 Trelowarren Street, TR14 8AH). Teams choose from three current routes: Bude to Gwithian, Coverack to Porthtowan, and Plymouth Sound to Coverack.
Participants must meet qualifying requirements: completion of a 100k event in under 20 hours and prior night-running experience. Teams start together and the organisers aim to support all five runners to finish within a 36 hour limit. Runners are transported from the base to the start and are returned to base from the finish. The crew meets teams every 5 to 6 miles and will transport runners around any ferry crossings.
Organisers provide water, Pepsi, sweets, crisps and simple hot food; runners must supply primary nutrition. Each entrant may bring one box of kit/food (50 x 50 x 40 cm); a box can be provided if needed. Participants must carry specified kit including a waterproof jacket (minimum 10 000 mm), bivvy bag (not a foil blanket), headtorch (200 lumens minimum) with spare batteries, hydration system (1 litre minimum) and emergency money.
The entry fee is £110 and is non-refundable unless the place can be filled, in which case a refund may be issued. Participants must provide an emergency contact able to collect them if they withdraw. If a major medical incident occurs or an Amber or Red weather warning is issued, the organisers may cancel or convert the event to a virtual format. Entry is subject to terms, conditions and a waiver accepting event risks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
