The Woods
The Woods is a trail running event at Tehidy Woods on Saturday 12th September 2026. Entries open on 1st May and listed entry fees are £30, £40, £50 and £60. The event returns for its third year.
The event uses a marked 4 mile circular loop and offers multiple time-based race choices:
- Rowan - 3 hours
- Ash - 6 hours
- Beech - 9 hours
- Oak - 12 hours
All four races follow the same 4 mile route and start together. The loop is hilly and technical, with typical woodland entanglements and surface changes. The course is waymarked with Bys Vyken arrows.
As the event progresses the number of runners on course reduces, since participants stop once they have completed their chosen duration. Entries close two weeks before the event. On the day there is on-site registration and a pre-race briefing. There is parking available with a request to consider car sharing. Vendor stalls and refreshment stalls will be present.
