The Woods 2026 : Tehidy Woods, Cornwall

The Woods 2026 is a timed trail race held on a four‑mile loop through Tehidy Woods, located just off the B3301 north coast road in Cornwall. Runners choose how long they will run: Rowan (3 hours), Ash (6 hours), Beech (9 hours) and Oak (12 hours). The competitor who completes the maximum number of laps in each duration is the winner for that category.

There are affiliated and non‑affiliated entry categories with different entry prices for each duration. Crew members are permitted to assist participants, but support runners are not allowed on the course. The event operates under ARC permit number ARC/26/0037.

Refunds are offered up to four weeks before the event, and entries can be deferred up to two weeks before the event. Deferrals are not refundable at a subsequent race. If an Amber or Red weather warning is issued by the Met Office, the organisers will not permit the race to go ahead; the event may be rescheduled or held virtually if rescheduling is not possible.

A kit list coat may be available for hire on request. Participants must accept the event disclaimer and the organiser’s terms and conditions, and they assume the risks associated with running on road, trail or coastal terrain. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
