The Woods 2027

This event takes place in Tehidy Woods, just off the B3301 north coast road in Cornwall. The course is a 4 mile loop through the woods. Runners choose how long to run and complete as many laps of the loop as possible; maximum laps for each duration determines the winner.

Crew are allowed but support runners are not permitted on the course. Participants must be over 18 and should be medically able, trained, and properly equipped for trail running. All participants agree to follow the decisions of race officials and marshals. The organiser holds ARC Permit number ARC/2.

Refund and deferral rules are stated by the organiser: refunds are available up to four weeks before the event and deferrals up to two weeks before the event; deferrals cannot be refunded at a subsequent race. If the Met Office issues an Amber or Red weather warning the race cannot go ahead; the organiser will reschedule if possible and otherwise hold the event virtually. Participants accept the risks associated with trail running, including falls, weather, animals, and surface conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
