Running Events Devon - Choo-Choo Challenge 2026

Running Events Devon holds the Choo-Choo Challenge on Monday 31 August 2026 at a new venue in Bridestowe, Station Road, EX20 4HF. The event is organised as an 8 hour timed event and is described as undulating with a mix of off-road and paved surfaces.

The event uses a TUGG system, Turn Up Get Going, which provides a flexible arrival window on the day while requiring participants to complete their laps within the overall permitted time. Participants may walk or run and may complete as many laps as they can within the event duration.

Each lap is 5.3k, out and back, on a scenic route along an old disused train line. Anyone who completes at least one lap within the permitted time is classed as a finisher and may collect a medal. Organisers note that places are strictly limited and that if capacity is reached, later entrants will receive a bespoke medal selected from those available on the day.

The event limit is 70 entrants. Entries close on 27/08/2026 and the minimum age is 18 years. Entry fees are listed by category: Affiliated £32.00, Unattached £34.00, Affiliated No Perks £21.00, Unattached No Perks £23.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
