Running Events Devon - Choo-Choo Challenge 2026

Running Events Devon stages the Choo-Choo Challenge on Monday, 31 August 2026 at a new venue on Station Road, Bridestowe, EX20 4HF. The event is an eight hour timed challenge that uses a Turn Up Get Going system so participants may start during the event period and must complete laps within the overall time allowance.

The course is an out-and-back route on an old disused train line. Each lap measures 5.3 km along a scenic, undulating surface that is a mix of off-road and paved sections. Participants may complete any number of laps up to the permitted time; those who finish one or more laps within the time allowance receive a medal.

Entry is limited to 70 participants. The minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 27 August 2026. Available entry categories and prices are listed as follows: affiliated £32.00, unattached £34.00, affiliated no perks £21.00, unattached no perks £23.00.
