The Wimbleball Trail Races are part of the Wimbleball weekend. The event takes place at Wimbleball Lake, near Dulverton in Somerset.

Distances

Runners can choose from two primary trail race distances:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km

There is also a Canicross category for participants who want to run with their dog.

Route Details

The course is on great trails with a small section of tarmac as participants run over the Dam. Each distance consists of one lap and offers views.

What's Included

Race entry includes electronic chip timing. The course is fully marked out and marshalled. There is a feed station on the route. Finishers receive a custom medal. Refreshments like beer and snacks are available at the finish line. Free number transfer is available if a runner is unable to participate. Category prizes and podiums are awarded.

Age Requirements

The 10K and 10K Canicross events are open to entrants aged 15 and over. The standard 5K and 5K Canicross events are open to entrants aged 12 and over. There is a separate 5K Under 12 category for runners aged between 8 and 11. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
