Wimbleball Lake Trail Races

Wimbleball Lake Trail Races take place at Wimbleball Lake, Brompton Regis, Dulverton, Somerset (TA22 9NU) on 29 August 2026. The event offers off-road courses with views of the lake and is part of the wider Wimbleball Sports Festival, which includes triathlons, open water swims and cycle sportives across the bank holiday weekend.

Facilities and services for competitors include finishers medals and podium prizes, professional event photos, showers, toilets, parking, public liability insurance and professional RFID chip timing. Camping is available at Wimbleball Lake for an additional charge.

A weekend festival at the Pinkery Centre in Exmoor National Park with trail runs, long walks, a sunset swim, guest speakers, social evenings and film screenings, featuring distances from 1.5 km up to 30 miles.

A multi‑terrain 10k around Umborne Village Hall near Colyton, East Devon, featuring largely off road running through Widworthy Estate, marshals, water stations and post race refreshments, with proceeds supporting the village hall.

A community 10 km run organised by Exeter City Community Trust, held from Race HQ at Haven Banks and routed along the Riverside Valley Park. The event is chip timed, provides water stations, first aid and a finisher medal; minimum age 15.

A series of certified races on the traffic free Tarka Trail near Barnstaple, featuring measured 10 km up to 50 km distances plus family Colourburst runs and two tunnels along scenic rivers and woodlands.
