Wimbleball Lake Trail Races

Wimbleball Lake Trail Races take place at Wimbleball Lake, Brompton Regis, Dulverton, Somerset (TA22 9NU) on 29 August 2026. The event offers off-road courses with views of the lake and is part of the wider Wimbleball Sports Festival, which includes triathlons, open water swims and cycle sportives across the bank holiday weekend.

Facilities and services for competitors include finishers medals and podium prizes, professional event photos, showers, toilets, parking, public liability insurance and professional RFID chip timing. Camping is available at Wimbleball Lake for an additional charge.

Distances and options

• 10K trail run: 1 lap, minimum age 15 on race day
• 10K canicross: 1 lap, minimum age 16 on race day
• 5K trail run: 1 lap, minimum age 12 on race day
• 5K canicross: 1 lap, minimum age 16 on race day

Route notes describe off-road terrain and lake views. Results and route maps are provided by the organiser. Awards include a custom finisher medal for all finishers and podium medals for top places, subject to entry numbers and a one prize per person policy.
