Trail Running calendar near Lowther 2026-2027

A November trail marathon in Northumberland with about 28 miles and roughly 6,000 feet of ascent. The marked course has staffed checkpoints, mandatory kit requirements and on-route medical cover.

A Category AS fell race in the West Pennine Moors above Darwen, covering about 6 km with 305 m of climb, organised by Darwen Dashers and raising funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Leeds MoRun at Roundhay Park on 15 November 2026 offers 1.5k, 5k, 10k and Half Marathon distances to raise funds and awareness for Movember. The event includes chip timing, finisher medals and a fancy dress competition.

An AL Fell Race from Barley Village Hall covering 27 km with 1473 m of ascent; navigational skill and mandatory safety kit are required, and cut-offs at CP4 and CP6 are enforced.

A fell race in Littondale and Upper Wharfedale, the senior route is 5 km with about 362 m of ascent. Junior races run over several shorter distances and climbs.

A 5.8 Mile fell race in Marsden on 21 November 2026, starting and finishing at Marsden Cricket Club. The circular route covers reservoirs, slabbed Pennine Way sections and boggy ground with about 1026 ft of ascent.

Experience a traditional fell race near Wythop Mill featuring a 5.9 km senior route and dedicated junior courses for all ages.

The Kings Highway 15km Trail Race will take place in Altham on Sunday 22 November 2026. You can run 15 kilometers.

The Black Night Scar fell race lights up the South West Pennines on 24 Nov 2026 from Todmorden, a punchy 5.8 km course with 315 m of climb under headtorches. Entries available pre entry or on the day with teams of three welcome.

Tackle Kirkby Moor's classic BM fell race on Sat 28 Nov 2026, a 10.5 km route with 490 m of climb across stunning Lake District terrain. Entry on the day from Kirkby Community Centre, with team entries and season trophies at stake.

A 24 hour route of 51 miles across the South Pennines from Marsden to Ilkley that visits six Stanza Stones inscribed with poems about water. The event features checkpoints, live tracking and professional medical support.

A trail 10 km loop through Marton Mere and past Blackpool Zoo on 29 November 2026, finishing in the grounds of the Village Hotel. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and refreshments are provided.

A team relay at Lee Mill Quarry where each of four runners completes a flagged 10.7 km lap. The event is based at Stubbylee Hall in Rossendale and includes strict kit requirements and a 120 team limit.

A handicap fell race at Bleach Green, Ennerdale on 5 December 2026, covering 4 km with 410 m of ascent and including the Crag Fell summit. Pre-entry is required and the event features a prize exchange at registration.
