About the race
Wooler Trail Marathon is held in the Northumberland National Park and starts in Wooler. The event is split across two days and follows routes that pass high open ground with long uninterrupted views and many undulations.
Two distances are offered:

- Half marathon
The marathon route includes just over 6000 feet of ascent. All routes will be marked with tape and signs and marshals will be positioned at key points. Navigation remains the responsibility of each competitor and there are checkpoint cut offs; the full marathon must be completed within 9.5 hours.

A bespoke event t-shirt is available to purchase. Prizes are awarded for male and female categories across age groups including Senior, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69 and 70 plus.
