Kick off 2026 at the Wooler Vertical 1k Trail Race on 1 January in Wooler. This 4 miles out and back climbs 1000 feet to the top of Humbleton Hill from The Cheviot Centre for a bold New Year trail challenge.

Shake off the holidays on 2 January 2026 with a social New Year run from Tweedbank to Lauder along part of the Southern Upland Way. Choose 4, 6 mile or full route, pre entry only with limited places, and warm finish food awaiting runners.

Take on a deep winter half marathon to the summit of Hedgehope and back, on a fully marked and marshalled course. Expect winter conditions, mandatory kit and a warming bowl of soup at the finish for a memorable January trail challenge.
