PFW Running - The Bog Trotter 10k
This event is a trail run on a 10 km loop through a country park in Blackpool, with a short section on pavement. The course passes Marton Mere nature reserve, Herons Reach golf course and Blackpool Zoo, and it offers views of Blackpool Tower and Stanley Park. Participants may hear the roar of a lion during the route.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal and post race goodies. Refreshments provided include sweet and savoury snacks, water, cordial and coke. The event is organised under UK Athletics rules and holds Trail Running Association Race Permit Number 8056.
Age limits require all participants to be over 18. Entry fees for the 10 km are listed as £23 for affiliated runners and £25 for unattached runners. The start and finish location is in the grounds of the Village Hotel, East Park Drive, Blackpool, FY3 8LL. The event date is Sunday 29th November 2026.
